Bang Pa-In Palace พระราชวังบางปะอิน
Bang Pa-In Palace is an ancient palace from the Ayutthaya period, built by King Prasat Thong as it was his birthplace. It served as a summer palace for the kings of Ayutthaya until the fall of Ayutthaya to the Burmese. After the fall, Bang Pa-In Palace was left abandoned and became known again during the time of Sunthorn Phu, who accompanied King Rama I to pay homage to the Buddha's footprint in Saraburi, writing about the palace in "Niras Phra Bat." It wasn't until the reign of King Rama IV that restoration of the palace began, and during the reign of King Rama V, significant renovations took place, including the construction of throne halls, residences, and various pavilions to host royal guests and provide royal banquets on different occasions. Today, Bang Pa-In Palace is under the care of the Bureau of the Royal Household and continues to serve as a royal residence for His Majesty the King and the royal family, as well as for royal ceremonies. It is open to the public and tourists, but visitors are required to dress appropriately.

พระราชวังบางปะอิน เป็นพระราชวังโบราณสมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยา สร้างขึ้นโดยสมเด็จพระเจ้าปราสาททอง เนื่องจากเป็นที่ประสูติของพระองค์ และใช้เป็นพระราชวังฤดูร้อนสำหรับพระมหากษัตริย์กรุงศรีอยุธยาจวบจนกระทั่งเสียกรุงศรีฯให้พม่า
หลังจากการเสียกรุงศรีฯ พระราชวังบางปะอินถูกปล่อยให้รกร้าง และกลับมาเป็นที่รู้จักอีกครั้งเมื่อครั้งสุนทรภู่ ซึ่งได้ตามเสด็จรัชกาลที่ ๑ ไปนมัสการพระพุทธบาทสระบุรี โดยได้ประพันธ์ถึงพระราชวังบางปะอินไว้ใน นิราศพระบาท จนกระทั่งในสมัยรัชกาลที่ ๔ จึงได้เริ่มมีการบูรณะพระราชวัง และในสมัยรัชกาลที่ ๕ ได้มีการบูรณะครั้งใหญ่ โดยได้สร้างพระที่นั่ง พระตำหนัก และตำหนักต่างๆ ขึ้นเพื่อใช้เป็นที่ประทับรับรองพระราชอาคันตุกะและพระราชทานเลี้ยงในโอกาสต่างๆ
ปัจจุบัน พระราชวังบางปะอิน อยู่ในความดูแลของ สำนักพระราชวัง และยังใช้เป็นสถานที่แปรพระราชฐานของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวและพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ รวมถึงประกอบพระราชพิธีสังเวยพระป้าย แต่ก็ได้เปิดให้ประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวเข้าชมได้ โดยต้องแต่งกายให้สุภาพ
