ภายในถ้ำมีพระพุทธไสยาสน์ที่ประดิษฐานภายในถ้ำเขาย้อยอันเป็นพระพุทธรูปที่สันนิษฐานกันว่าค่อนข้างเก่าแก่ในขณะที่ถ้ำเขาย้อยเองนั้น ในอดีตสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 4 ในสมัยที่พระองค์ออกผนวชได้เสด็จธุดงค์มาถึงที่นี่และประทับนั่งกรรมฐานอยู่ภายในถ้ำแห่งนี้อยู่หลายคืน นอกจากนี้ด้านหลังของพระพุทธไสยาสน์ ยังมีรอยพระพุทธบาทที่มีผู้ศรัทธานำทองคำเปลวมาปิดมากมายจนแลดูเป็นสีทองอร่ามงดงามยิ่งนัก ยังมีผู้ศรัทธานำเหรียญที่มีสีทอง เช่น เหรียญบาทหรือเหรียญห้าสิบสตางค์ มาโปรยเพื่อเป็นพุทธบูชาภายในรอยพระบาทอีกด้วย ซึ่งผู้นมัสการบูชามีความเชื่อว่า อานิสงส์ผลบุญจะนำมาซึ่งความมั่งคั่ง ร่ำรวย เงินทองไหลมาเทมาประดุจดั่งสีทองอร่ามของพระพุทธบาทนั่นเอง
