วัดกลางบางพระ
Wat Klang Bang Phra is a temple from the Rattanakosin era, built around 1823. The temple was constructed in the area where the Buddha image sank, located between Wat Bang Phra and Wat Si Maha Pho, hence it is called "Wat Klang Bang Phra." It is said that in 1757, the Burmese invaded Ayutthaya, causing both officials and villagers to evacuate. The Buddha image and the Si Maha Pho tree were transported by boat from the Chao Phraya River to Bang Phra Canal. During the journey, a storm caused the boat to capsize, resulting in the Buddha image sinking, while the Si Maha Pho tree floated downstream to Si Maha Pho sub-district, which is an elevated area. Luang Por Somwang is a Buddha statue in the posture of Mara Victory, made of brick and cement with mosaic tiles, created by Phra Kru Sunthornwutthikhan (Luang Por Phut Suntharo) in 1981. Upon completion, various sacred materials were enshrined, and a consecration ceremony was held, along with the enshrinement of 99 nine-inch Buddha images within the Luang Por Somwang statue for the auspiciousness of those who pay their respects.

วัดกลางบางพระ เป็นวัดในสมัยกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ ประมาณปี พ.ศ.2326 วัดได้ถูกสร้างขึ้นบริเวณที่พระพุทธปฏิมากรจมน้ำ อยู่ตรงกลางระหว่างวัดบางพระกับวัดศรีมหาโพธิ์ จึงเรียกกันว่า "วัดกลางบางพระ" เล่ากันว่า ในปี พ.ศ.2300 พม่าได้เข้าตีกรุงศรีอยุธยา ทั้งข้าราชบริพารและชาวบ้าน พระพุทธปฏิมากรและต้นศรีมหาโพธิ์ ได้ถูกอพยพทางเรือ จากแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาไปจนถึงคลองบางพระ ระหว่างทางเกิดพายุทำให้เรือล่ม พระพุทธปฏิมากรจมน้ำ ส่วนต้นศรีมหาโพธิ์ลอยไปตามน้ำ จากคลองบางพระไปจนถึงตำบลศรีมหาโพธิ์ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ดอน หลวงพ่อสมหวัง เป็นพระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัย หรือสะดุ้งมาร ก่ออิฐถือปูนด้วยกระเบื้องโมเสก จัดสร้างโดย พระครูสุนทรวุฒิคุณ (หลวงพ่อพุฒ สุนทโร) เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2524 เมื่อสร้างเสร็จได้บรรจุมวลสาร แผ่นชนวนต่างๆ และประกอบพิธีพุทธาภิเษก พรอ้มกับอัญเชิญ พระพุทธรูป 9 นิ้ว จำนวน 99 องค์ บรรจุไวัใน องค์หลวงพ่อสมหวัง เพื่อความเป็นศิริมงคลแก่ผู้กราบไหว้
